Much of the wooden sills remained at the start of this project, though in very rough shape. They were used as patterns
for making new ones. Some things were missing or cut off. There was no brake staff, the stirrup steps had been cut off, the
coupler pins were gone, and two brake shoes were missing. These parts are being replaced as time and money becomes available.
